About the Course
This course is offered as a tutor-driven presentation of the subject matter with a series of practical exercises based on a sample application design. The Foundation Level qualification is aimed at anyone involved in software testing who wishes to broaden their knowledge of usability testing or anyone who wishes to start a specialist career in usability testing.
The qualification is also aimed at anyone involved in usability engineering who wishes to understand usability testing.

This chapter elaborates informal reviews, expert reviews and heuristic evaluation

Usability Testing
This chapter covers areas of planning activities, defining sessions and tasks, testing locations, the role of the moderator, observer and participant, preparing for test execution, analysis and reporting of findings, communicating usability issues to stakeholders and quality assurance tasks
