After following this module, participants will be able to:

• Build an initial AI leadership action plan that is appropriate to their role as leaders of digital change & work transformation.
• Evaluate & refine the approach to AI adoption within the organization based on principles of ethics, security, & reputation.
• Build awareness of balanced leadership – between technology & humanity – including the role of values, empathy, & communication in the AI era.
• Identify staff competency needs and strategies for upgrading AI & soft skills in parallel within the organization.
• Provide a basic guide for AI budgeting & subscriptions that is prudent, planned, & productive.
• Develop an initial draft of an organizational AI transformation plan, which includes internal communication strategies, building a new work culture, & prioritizing changes.

This module will introduce two categories of generative artificial intelligence applications for data analysis:

• General AI applications: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Perplexity, QwenChat
• Specialized AI applications: NotebookLM, Mindmap AI, SciSpace, EdCafe AI

• ‘AI as IAs’ Approach: AI as an intelligent answerer, intelligent assistant, intelligent artist, intelligent analyst, intelligent advisor, intelligent research architect, intelligent augmentor & intelligent agent.
• Brand-agnostic: Comparing AI from various companies neutrally & critically.
• AI leadership approach: Introducing the four main roles of a leader in the AI era:

  2. Leader of safe & ethical AI use
  3. Leader of transformation & innovation in AI-using organizations
  4. Leader of balancing humanity with AI technology
